Held at the Thurmaston British Legion on 5th March 2008 at 20:00 hrs 

     1. Apologies   Ted Robertson   due to Ill Health, Sylvia Payne (late)

     2. The minutes of the 2007 AGM were read and accepted  Proposed / Seconded L Brown/G Brumby

     3. Matters Arising    None.

     4. There was no President’s address (see 1)

     5. The Chairman’s report was read

     6. The Treasurer’s report was read, a very minor discrepancy was brought to our attention by the treasurer, it was agreed by all that there was no cause

          for concerned the accounts were accepted.                            Proposed / Seconded                   Jez Downie / P Selvidge.

     7. The Committee was elected with the addition of Dave Cushman as President (should he chose to  accept the post). All other committee members were

          re-elected un-opposed. Our Treasurer stated that this would be his last term.

     8. AOB - The rule regarding late or non-appearance of an away team were discussed and  re-affirmed. The timeframe for 1st round individual competition

          was discussed and agreed that there would be a 3 week period to get these games played if at all possible.  The date for the Captain’s evening was

          arranged for 16th April 2008 at 20:00 at the Thurmaston British Legion
